Financial planning in Western New York

A comfortable place to talk about money, and what comes next.

Planning works best when someone helps you see how the pieces connect. That's what we do at Wright Park Wealth for individuals and families, beginning with a conversation about your life rather than a review of your portfolio.

What is Wright Park Wealth?

Wright Park Wealth is an independent, Western New York-based financial planning firm. We help individuals and families coordinate cash flow, retirement income, taxes, investments, and estate planning.

Our founder

Chris Porpiglia, CFP®

Founder and Financial Advisor

Chris has spent 15 years in financial planning, and the work still draws on what first pulled him toward engineering: a love of math and the satisfaction of solving a hard problem. Along the way he discovered that what he enjoyed most was the people attached to those problems, and financial planning gave him room for both. He built Wright Park Wealth around the way he believes planning should work: a conversation first, and the numbers in service of it.

What to expect, step by step.

It starts with a single conversation, and each stage builds on the one before.

  1. 1

    A conversation

We get to know you, and you get to know us.

  2. 2

    Cash flow first

We map what comes in, what goes out, and what you want it to do.

  3. 3

    The whole picture

Investments, taxes, income, and estate decisions, weighed together.

  4. 4

    A plan that keeps up

A living plan we revisit as your life changes.

What we help with

Cash flow and budgeting, retirement income, Roth conversions, tax strategy, estate planning, and saving for education are the topics individuals and families in Western New York ask about most. Each one affects the others, so we plan them together.

Cash flow and budgeting

A clear view of what you earn, spend, and save.

A cash flow picture you can actually use, built around what matters to you.

Retirement income planning

Retirement reshapes the cash flow conversation.

Where income could come from, how Social Security and Medicare timing fit, and how withdrawals might affect your taxes.

Roth conversion planning

A strategy worth understanding before you act on it.

A Roth conversion can change your tax picture now and later, and it isn't right for everyone. We walk through how one might fit your plan.

Tax planning and strategy

Taxes touch nearly every financial decision.

How taxes interact with your income, investments, and estate decisions, so the tradeoffs are visible before you decide.

Estate and multi-generational planning

Decisions that outlast you.

Beneficiaries, trusts, and what you'd like to leave to family or causes you care about, coordinated with your estate planning attorney.

Education and family planning

Supporting the next generation while planning for yourself.

From 529 plans to what to do with an old 401(k) after a job change.

Our planning is educational and isn't tax or legal advice. We encourage you to consult a qualified tax or legal professional about your specific situation.
